Our Branch has lost a Legend, one of the originals and one of the biggest contributors of his time and experience.
Our deepest condolences also go to Margaret and Gary’s extended family.
Gary’s service was held on Monday 18th July and was very pleasing to see so many red shirts on display as a mark of respect for Grumblebum.
The service was very fitting for a man who was a quiet, ‘low key’ kind of character and the tributes were very heartfelt from lifelong friends and family.
Gary may have been a man of few words, but looking at some of the pictures during the tribute Gary had a wicked sense of humour which I am sure is no surprise to this of you who knew him well.
