Today is a large circuit. Down to Appin, then Douglas Park, Picton, Thirlmere, Buxton, Mittagong, and thence to Berrima. After mornos, we hit Moss Vale, then Old South Rd to the Y towns, and back to Appin and then Heathcote.
It’s a perfect day. The heat and rain have both stayed away, and we are left with a perfect riding day.
Explain to me the number of places selling flowers today. It’s 364 days till Valentine’s Day. Does ANYONE really present a Valentine with flowers a day after the fact? So be it.
Flowers in a top box. Now… that’d be a look.
Typical Pirate Ride where we basically stick to the limits (sorry, Chris… sorry, Colin). We go through one camera trap that didn’t show up on Waze, but we were well inside the limit. We then became friends with a police grey BMW who was in front of us as we left Mittagong and was again present coming into Moss Vale. Our halos never slipped, so we were ok.
Schmokin’ for morning tea, where David wanted a pie. They only come with chips and salad, and at $24, they lost that sale. The bacon and egg roll with coffee is always good. $17 is standard these days.
Not much more to say other than, if you weren’t there, you missed a glorious day’s ride.
