The weather gods were kind today, parting the clouds just in time for today’s ride to start, and holding it off for as long as it could, with showers setting in as soon as I got off the bike at home.
There were 7 of us today, lucky made it along today, after 10 weeks recovering from an old war wound, the Toths were both there, Saturday regular, Beat, and also Shrek, Bobby Hill and myself.
I led the group down the OPH, we went down Mt Kierra, back onto the freeway and took the Fowlers Rd exit, headed over to Mt Marshal Rd, did Calderwood and continued on via Jamberoo, Kiama, Broughton Village, Foxhound Ground and hit the Dairy Bar at Berry for coffee and snacks.
From Berry, we took Woodhill Mountain Rd, Wattamulla Rd, travelling via KV and up to Pearson’s Lane to the Sunrise Bakery in Robertson for lunch. From there, we headed across to Tourist Rd and down Mac Pass for the bolt home, police bikes and cars everywhere in the gong. Thanks to everyone that attended today, it was a good ride with good company, and to Beat for Tec duties.
