The organising committee for this year’s Breakfast Torque, 27 Oct 2024, have confirmed the involvement of the “Vespardos” and the Illawarra Classic M/c Club in the event with them displaying some of their bikes. TOLL have likewise confirmed their semi trailer will be there so we will need bikes to surround it as an example of blind spots. We really need to usher riders up into the cab of the truck to give them a real taste of what a truck driver can see from his drivers seat.
Likewise we will require members to man the marquee and provide bikes for a display around it. Can you help?
We’ve got 2,500 leaflets to hand out to M/C shops and posters to mount at appropriate positions. At this stage we’ve managed to distribute them from virtually Rockdale to Kiama. Stanwell Tops was a target a couple of Sat and Sun mornings handing out leaflets. I’ve also contacted the NSW Police at Sutherland PAC and we’ve got a guest speaker from the Engadine HWP. More on all these issues as we get closer.
