You cannot pick how many are going to show on a Saturday, today we had 12 riders, with Dakar promising twists and turns to the south. It was south to Picton Rd, down Mt Kembla, down the OPH and west at Kembla Grange, Avondale, with a run up the hill climb track to the top where we stopped for 20 minutes before continuing on to Marshal Mt Rd, and onto Church St for coffee and snacks at Blue Jay’s Cafe.

After the break, Tunnel’s made a b line for home, the rest of us headed back via Calderwood, Marshal Mt Rd, back onto the freeway north at Fowlers Rd and exited at Figtree, for a run up Mt Kierra, onto Clive Bissel Dr and up the OPH to Heathcote where we said our goodbyes.
