I arrived at Loftus oval for a ride last Monday being a beautiful sunny day, following a wet weekend. Whispers and Perry were there on arrival and Martin arrived shortly afterwards.
We enquired where the destination was today and Whispers informed us that we would be riding to Cordeaux Heights.
We set off at 8am riding along the Old Princes Highway, Mount Keira Road and onto Harry Graham Drive before arriving at Cordeaux Heights in time for some sustenance. On arrival, Martin had an issue with a warning light on his bike and was busy studying his handbook to see what the problem was.
Once we pondered over this, we grabbed some coffees and enjoyed some good conversation.
We then mounted our bikes and headed back to Heathcote riding down through West Wollongong and up Mount Keira Road, then onto Clive Bissell Drive before ending back on the Old Princes Highway. Whispers took a final selfie of the group in our parting photo and we all went our separate ways home.
All in all a great morning’s ride.
