Thursday 25th Jan, 6 riders turned up on this warm, overcast day, it was good to see Shafe make a show, after recovering from an injury, the only problem was, he was pulling his bike apart, the not 12 month old battery did not want to play, thats 3 I have seen like this in 12 months, so it was 5 BMW’s and a historic Ducati, after the offending, very hot battery was removed, Shrek doubled Shafe to Coda, to get a new one, leaving Monkey, Colonel, Tunnels and Bullfrog to complete a trip to Jamberoo, which had a sprinkling of classis cars there as well.
After morning tea, we did swamp rd back to the Hwy, and headed straight home, plenty to cops on the roads with double demerits in force now, on the return Journey, I had a call around the Shell Harbour turn off from Shrek, the Battery had dropped a cell, and was promptly replaced so they returned to Shafe’s bike at the Heathcote Ampol, with it reported that it is now performing correctly, the 2 of them then proceeded to the Lime Leaf cafe for morning tea, thanks to Monkey for leading, Bullfrog for performing TEC and Shrek for looking after Shafe in his hour of need. I’m glad it remained overcast.
