Thursday 14th of December, with a prediction of 37 and clearing showers today, I didn’t expect much of a turnout, but on arrival, Bullfrog and Dane were already there, and Shrek and Tunnels showed up also. Shell cove was the popular choise with the expected heat, and I somehow drew the lead straw, we did Mt Keira, took the Fowler rd exit and did Avondale, Marshall Mt rd, Jamberoo and onto Swamp rd, then went north back to the Shell Harbour turnoff and made our way into Shell Cove, We headed to the Waterfront tavern for refreshments.
We all said our goodbyes before we left, with the decision made to just head straight for home, with no stops, it was 37 when I got home about 12.30 pm. At least the ride down was quite pleasant.
