The three amigos Clancy Perry and Whispers ride again, this time to Thirlmere Cafe. On the best winters day this month, sunshine, no wind, we chose Picton Rd, Macarthur Drive, Douglas Park, Victoria St bridge to Thirlmere.
We Ordered our bacon & egg rolls and some coffee, and sat in the garden of the café, absorbing the sun. We decide what new car, we should each buy, but it ended up in the too hard basket, best keep what we have, this applies to bikes as well.
Leaving the sun, our return ride was via Razor back. I remembered this used to be the Hume Highway, Sydney to Melbourne a few years back, when the legal driving time for trucks expired at Tarcutta for return load overnighters.
Returning Heathcote Rd over the new bridge at Deadmans Creek, a big improvement and reporting in for domestic duty by lunchtime.
