The Branch lost another great bloke in Bill “Judder’ Barton, who lost his long battle with illness. Right up to the end Bill was a fighter and to all his family and friends we send out condolences.
Bill was another one of those who always greeted you with a smile and warmth and not a ‘woe is me’ to be heard, albeit you could forgive him a few given his long battle with illness.
Bill gave up riding rite a few years ago but he always made time to come to Branch meetings and always with a smile on his dial!
Bill was farewelled on the 18th January 2023 with a cortege of Branch members in front of the hearse led by Wills and others in cars behind. The members then lined to walkway into the chapel.
It was a very fitting farewell to a really good bloke.
