With a predicted temp of mid-30s, it did not deter Perry, Doc, Vic, Russel, Bob, and Whispers from a ride. Anywhere along the coast was rejected because of holiday crowds, so a ride west was decided. Leaf and Bean Café in Picton was chosen with the usual route: OPH, Picton Rd, Macarthur Dr, Douglas Park Dr to Picton Town Centre.
Plenty of parking was available as the staff rearranged the seating for six hungry Ulyssians. The usual menu of bacon and eggs was ordered and devoured. Discussions included scammers and the low-life thieves who are always trying to steal your money, which could be solved by the election of our group to parliament to replace the lily-livered politicians we now endure.
With the temp rising, we chose the quickest way home, which was Razorback, Camden, Hume Hwy, and Heathcote Rd, arriving home about 11:30. Refuel, shower, nanny nap, and ready for the next adventure.
