We met at Sutherland oval for an 8 o’clock start as usual.
Today, 4 riders turned up. Discussions started regarding where to go on this bright sunny day, with various destinations put forward, but by the end, it was Shell Cove that came out on top.
With Whispers leading the way, we proceeded down OPH, Mount Ousley, the Albion Park bypass, and on to Shell Harbour turnoff where we lost one rider on a roundabout with a late direction change but we managed to all met up in the carpark.
Some of the guy’s had very good-looking bacon and egg rolls with their coffee, while we got to know new member Cliff Hobden and welcome him to the club along with some good conversation which unfortunately had to finish eventually, as the time had come to head back home.
We all pulled up at Heathcote to say our goodbyes and hope that Cliff meeting us 3, hasn’t deterred him from further rides with the club.
A very nice morning ride.
