Another nice summers day, under 30, that must be why 15 riders turned up today, and being the weekend, half the guys were the working ones, that are keeping the country running, and long term member Duncan was also there today.
Gorilla led us out, with a plan, the long way to Thirlmere. We headed into the Royal at Waterfall and back onto the OPH at the Burg, and all the way south to Fowler Rd, making our way onto Mt Marshall Rd and through Caulderwood before a very slow ride up Mac Pass. We then took Tourist Rd, making our way back towards Mittagong, and taking Old South Rd, the Y towns, Arina Rd, Tahmoor and finally onto out destination via Thirlmere Way.
The nearly 2.5 hour ride had taken its toll, the lads were hungry. Loop Line Pies had us all with Pies and drinks in no time.
The return leg saw us ride Barkers Lodge Rd back into Picton and then Picton Rd and Appin Rd back to Heathcote for our usual goodbyes.
Thanks Keith for leading and to our Tec for the day, TT.
