Excitement filled the air as I led my second ride to Kangaroo Valley. Setting off from Menai with Chopper (Brett Williams) amidst a light rain, anticipation grew. Waiting for the group to assemble Amplo Heathcote, Gorilla (Keith Moyle) arrived, and after a brief discussion on our route, we departed at 9 am with just three Triumph riders in tow. Despite encountering rain along the old Princess Highway towards Mount Ousley, we pressed on.
However, heavy rain on the highway forced us to rethink our journey. Descending Mount Keira to Austinmer, a welcome surprise greeted us – the rain had ceased. After a coffee break, we collectively decided to head home via the National Park route. Though the ride was shorter than expected, we still relished the opportunity to be out on the road for a few hours.
Cheers, Wills
