It was foggy at home this morning, and the 15 riders were also met with foggy conditions at Heathcote. Gorilla led us out, and I was TEC today, Gorilla took us for a lovely cool ride south through the Royal, emerging into the sun at the southern end, we then got back onto the OPH, then Appin Rd, Douglas Park , Cawdor Rd, doing the loop around the back way into Thirlmere via Oakdale.
As usual, Loop Line pies were very accommodating, promptly pumping out the coffee. A few of the group got to know new member Steve a bit, who was riding a 1290 KTM, The run home was via Bob’s Range Rd, Picton, the Pass and Appin Rd, we said our goodbyes at Heathcote with temps rising to the low 30s. Thanks to Gorilla for leading todays ride and welcome to the club Steve.
