Todays Meet & Greet went ahead, with The Smifs on their Tiger, Shane on his GS, and 2 BMW RS’s with Red and myself. I led the ride today, with the destination, Diggies Cafe at Kiama Blowhole. We left a few minutes late, as Red showed up, right on the starting bell.

After a quick briefing, we headed out down the OPH, and down to the Picton Rd turnoff, and made our way back down Mt Kierra, getting back onto the freeway at Figtree, we continued south to Fowlers Rd, and took the Avondale Loop, got onto Marshal Mt Rd and then made our way through Albion Park and back onto the southern freeway, this time exiting at Minamurra and taking a right to Swamp Rd. We made our way south through the Jamberoo Valley and then down into the southern end of Kiama, before making our way north, back to the Blowhole Headland.

Morning tea was extremely pleasent out on the headland, there was a lot of discussion surrounding Shane’s bike, as it had developed unwanted surges of acceleration requiring a restart to reset its the engine’s brain. Probably a senser somewhere.

For the trip home, we decided on the direct route, which worked much better for Shane’s bike, well, I know he made it past Heathcote, where we said our goodbyes. It looked like rain a couple of times and the fog up around Bulli was fairly thick on the return leg, but we all enjoyed a nice dry ride, in quite nice conditions, good one gentlemen and thanks to our TECs for the day Owen & Leslie.
